The Aveyron Valley of Millau is a pleasant detour to make, very close to our family campsite pocket of the center of the village of Caylar. To get a superb view of the whole city, climb to the top of Puncho d'Agast, the Millavoise mountain nicknamed the Causse Noir.

Visit the downtown of Millau, discover all its good addresses and its must-sees: the Millau Viaduct, the Millau Museum and the Grands Causses, the Millau Viaduct area, the Belfry of Millau, the Millau beach and the Graufesenque.

For a superb activity with family or friends, take a canoe-kayak tour, at the foot of the Viaduct.

In the surroundings of our campsite with spa at Caylar, many visits and activities are absolutely worth doing! 

Start with a visit to the Labeil Cave. This cave offers a family safari route. Indeed, with a flashlight and a map, discover an underground world: river, crystals and old Roquefort cellar. 

Continue with theAbbaye de Sylvanès. This Cistercian abbey opens its doors to you for visits, musical gatherings, workshops and many more. 

Continue with a visit to the Cirque de Navacelles, the Grand Canyon of the Hérault. Exceptional panorama, river and lush nature will take shape before your eyes.

Finish with the discovery of La Couvertoirade close to our campsite, the must-see city on the Plateau du Larzac, which will immerse you in the world of the Templars. 

Activities for all

Whether you are traveling with family, friends, couple or alone, the activities abound. We invite you to start your visit with Lac de Salagou. The latter will surprise you with its particular color reminiscent of Mars. On site, you can swim, walk and practice many nautical activities. 

We also advise you to take a walk in the Parc Animalier Le Theil. A two-kilometre shaded trail, local and exotic animals, two aviaries, a varied flora, but also fun activities will be on the program. 

Many hikes pass near our establishment. Hikes suitable for all levels can be recommended.
